Mission Statement   •   Board & Staff

Organized as the National Soybean Processors Association (NSPA) in 1929, it was renamed August 1, 1989, as the National Oilseed Processors Association (NOPA). NOPA now represents oilseed crushers of canola, flaxseed, safflower, soybeans and sunflower.

NOPA represents fourteen regular member firms engaged in the actual processing of oilseeds, and ten associate member firms who are consumers of vegetable oil or oilseed meal, including some refiners and mixed feed manufacturers.

Through its various committees, the Association cooperates with the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, State and Commerce, as well as other independent and private organizations, both national and international, concerned with oilseed products.
