Stephanie Johnson

Director of Regulatory Affairs

Johnson brings 15 years of experience in energy policy, regulatory affairs, and legislative strategy at the national and state levels. She most recently served as director of state energy and regulatory policy at the Edison Electric Institute (EEI), advising investor-owned electric utilities on legislative and regulatory issues and representing EEI in outreach to state governors, utility commissioners, attorneys general, and energy officers. Previously, she served as the executive director of the Chesapeake Solar and Storage Association, leading the organization’s strategic initiatives and building bipartisan coalitions across the Mid-Atlantic.

Johnson holds a Master of Arts in American Studies from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from Indiana University.
