Thank You President Trump, Secretary Rollins, and Administrator Zeldin
America’s farmers are seeing the benefits of strong biofuels policy.
The Administration’s Renewable Fuel Standard is creating more demand for American-grown soybeans, supporting jobs in rural communities, and strengthening domestic manufacturing.
Farmers Are Benefiting
The results are already showing:
• Soybean prices are stronger. Average cash soybean prices are up about $1.70 per bushel from a year ago across primary soybean-producing states.
• Demand is growing. NOPA members processed a record 214.3 million bushels of soybeans in June, up 15% from last year.
• Biofuel production is increasing. EPA reported 839 million renewable fuel credits (D4 RINs) were generated in June, the highest June total in the past three years.
Together, these numbers show that stronger biofuels policy is increasing demand for American-grown soybeans and creating new opportunities for farmers.
Benefits Beyond the Farm
More soybean processing also means more soybean meal, an important ingredient in animal feed.
Over the past three years, soybean meal prices have fallen by nearly 40%, helping poultry, livestock, dairy, and aquaculture producers lower feed costs and helping keep food affordable for American families.
Investing in Rural America
Strong biofuels policy is:
• Creating stronger markets for farmers.
• Supporting American manufacturing.
• Growing jobs in rural communities.
• Strengthening U.S. energy security.
When American agriculture grows, rural America grows.
